Exhibitor Information: General Festival Rules and Guidelines:
Two 6’ draped tables will be provided for each culinary exhibitor (unless otherwise specified).
Exhibitors are responsible for additional table décor, serving pieces, and equipment (including plating, utensils, etc.)
You may bring your own tent or we will provide one for you. Do you plan to bring your own tent?
(Note: Tents larger than 10x10 are strictly prohibited.)
No electrical outlet will be provided. Please plan accordingly.
Alcohol vendors are limited to serving a 2 oz. pour as stated in the Alabama ABC board administration code – Chapter 20-c-7 Advertising Provisions. All alcohol vendors must follow all applicable Alabama ABC rules and regulations.
A “sell-out” event will be 1,000 guests. Be prepared to serve a sell-out crowd a tasting portion. Tasting portions are expected to last through the duration of the event.
Any food, beverage, or retail sales during the West Alabama Food & Wine Festival is strictly prohibited per the City Tax Revenue Division and ABC Board Regulations. The sole exception is the Alabama Wine Growers Association, which per the ABC Board, may participate in retail sales.
Up to three uniformed staff per exhibitor are allowed entry into the Festival.
Two complimentary guest tickets are available to each vendor upon request by April 10, 2024 (Please make your request to firstname.lastname@example.org or 205-799-5872)
Pre-Festival Marketing & Promotions:
We typically use traditional marketing and social media to promote the event. In order for WAFW to tag your business on social media and to see Festival news, follow us on Facebook and Instagram:
For inclusion in the West Alabama Food & Wine Festival website and additional digital and print promotion, we will pull an image and logo from the website/Facebook page provided in this form. If you’d like a specific image or logo to be used, please email email@example.com
All exhibitors will be included in the final round of promotions, including print ads and social media posts.
April 21 Festival Day Check-in and Set-up:
The Festival area in Downtown Northport will open for all exhibitors to set up at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2024.
All exhibits must be fully set up no later than 3:00 p.m. (Remember VIP Entrance begins at 3:30.)
To expedite set-up, please bring your own cart, if possible.
All exhibits must be removed from the Festival venue by 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2024. No items may remain in the Festival venue overnight.
Post-setup parking for Wine, Beer & Spirit Exhibitors will be available during the entirety of the Festival.
In the case of inclement weather, a rain date of April 28 has been reserved.
Consent to Photography and Tape Recordings I hereby grant permission to the West Alabama Food and Wine Festival and their sponsors to use photographs and tape recordings made of me and my business during the 2024 West Alabama Food and Wine Festival for publicity and other non-commercial purposes. Agree to Rules, Regulations & Guidelines My organization and I will operate our Wine, Beer, Spirit exhibit from 3:00 - 7:00pm , on Sunday April 21, 2024.
I shall not hold the West Alabama Food and Wine Festival, WAFWF volunteers, or any of its sponsors or representatives responsible for accidents to me, my staff, or property and I agree to assume all financial responsibility, including, but not limited to damages to property or injuries to persons, which arise or are claimed to arise out of or in connection with my participation in the West Alabama Food and Wine Festival located in Downtown Northport on Main Avenue.
I agree to comply with all applicable Federal, State and Local laws, rules and regulations while participating in the West Alabama Food and Wine Festival.
I have read all the rules and regulations of the West Alabama Food and Wine Festival and agree to abide by them. (Required)
