We hope you’ll join Tuscaloosa’s growing culinary community of local chefs, restaurateurs, and food and wine enthusiasts to celebrate a variety of Southern flavors and experiences unique to our region.

Give Back to our West Alabama Community

As an exhibitor, your charitable participation not only allows Festival attendees to sample some of the region’s finest food, beer, spirits, and wine offerings, it also helps raise thousands for area nonprofits. Combined with the support of patrons, sponsors, and volunteers, the West Alabama Food & Wine Festival has been able to donate more than $210,000. The most recent beneficiaries include West Alabama Food Bank and Turning Point.

Is there a fee to participate?

No, there is no fee to participate.

Am I allowed to sell anything at this event?

No, food, beverage, or retail sales during the West Alabama Food & Wine Festival are strictly prohibited per the City Tax Revenue Division and ABC Board Regulations. The sole exception is the Alabama Wine Growers Association, which, per the ABC Board, may participate in retail sales.

What happens after I submit an application?

A member of the West Alabama Food & Wine Festival committee will reach out to you within seven days. Additional correspondence will take place in the month prior to the Festival.

What time do I need to arrive? And where may I park?

Unloading and set-up times are provided in the application. Your parking location will be determined based on your exhibit location and will be shared with you before the event

May I bring my own tent?

Yes, if your tent meets the size requirements of 10′ x 10’  The footprint of the Festival strictly prohibits tents any larger than 10’ x 10’. You may indicate in the application if you will bring your own tent or would like one provided for you.

Is electricity provided?

No electrical outlet will be provided. If food samples need to remain warm during the festival, please plan on using a chafing dish or other means of heat.

How many people attend the Festival?

Expect to serve at least 1,000 free sample portions and to remain at the Festival throughout its duration.

How will my participation be recognized?

Exhibitors are recognized on the website, social media, and print and each November at The Grape Escape celebration of our culinary partners.
