2026 Food & Wine Festival
13th annual – For more than a decade the West Alabama Food & Wine Festival has brought together our growing culinary community of local chefs, restauranteurs, and food and wine enthusiasts to celebrate a variety of Southern flavors and experiences unique to our region.
Facilitated by a festival director, volunteer board of directors and festival committee, the annual event has raised more than $280,000 for area non-profits.

Table of Grace & Humane Society of West Alabama
The West Alabama Food & Wine Festival benefits two fabulous non-profits: Humane Society of West Alabama is dedicated to finding permanent, loving homes for abused, neglected and abandoned dogs and cats in the Tuscaloosa/West Alabama area. Table of Grace is a client-choice food pantry that welcomes neighbors into a market-style space where they can select the foods that best meet their needs. Their work is rooted in dignity, choice, and community as they strive to combat food injustice in West Alabama. Together with local partners, they are expanding access, awareness, and support for families in our community.

In memory of – our favorite raconteur, arts enthusiast, culinary gourmand, community advocate, and general man-about-town, Bill Buchanan was known and loved by many, and will be especially missed during each West Alabama Food & Wine Festival.
